Detroit-born Martina Harris began designing at the age of nine and designed her first pair of sneakers with her mom. To this day she never would have imagined that “My Pink Kisses” would become the business that it is today.  

 

Selling primarily online you can find this exclusive brand at “Books and Cookies” in Santa Monica, CA (currently owned by Chudney Ross daughter of Motown and international mega star Diana Ross).  My Pink Kisses provides custom shoes for children of all ages, both male and female so don’t let the name fool you.  “We allow the children to design the shoe of their dreams”.  The creativity is placed at their fingertips and they enjoy becoming designers at such a young age.

 

 

In 2012 Martina made the move to New York City where she began branding her company in the way she saw fit. While in New York Martina conducts fashion shows and workshops to promote her business.  My Pink Kisses recently partnered with “Ron Robinson Flagship Santa Monica” and also was a part of NY Fashion Week 2016.

 

Multi-talented; Martina is not only a creative and inventive designer but is also true to her craft of acting and modeling.  Her acting career has allowed her to work alongside rising star Tika Sumpter as her stand-in for the film “Sparkle” filmed exclusively in Detroit.  With a blooming career as a shoe designer, Martina is now becoming accustomed to being an actress of note.  Martina was recently featured in the film “The Nice Guys” as well as hit TV shows “Blackish, Top Five, Two Broke Girls, and American Horror Story” as well as the OJ Simpson “American Crime” cable feature.
